I can run Vista by turning on my computer, hitting F12 and going to the boot menu, and selecting it to run, but why won’t it just run automatically every time anymore? Is there some setting I can mess with or support I can download, or do I need professional help?

The MS Office 2007 CD allows installation of up to 5 computers, which I already did. I presume that installing it to another pc will require uninstalling the software from one of the pcs where it was installed. But I can’t do that without restoring the broken pc.

I can still access the hard drive of the broken pc via an ide usb connector.
